April 21 - Gambare Nippon! Nagata Shachu - Charity Benefit

Featuring world-renowned Kiyoshi Nagata and his team of drummers, this is a night not to be missed! Guest singers Mr Hubert Razack and Ms Emiko Hsuen will also sing "Yo Ake Ni Mukatte" (Towards the Dawn), a song written in honour of the people who have suffered from the Earthquake-Tsunami of March 11, 2011.

May 2 - Jazz Music & Special Charity Dinner at the JCCC

This charity event is organized by the Shinkikai and Japanese Restaurant Association. Cocktails start at 5:30pm. Doors to the Kobayashi Hall open at 7:00pm. Hear "Yo Ake Ni Mukatte" (Towards the Dawn) being performed by Japanese, French and Canadian artists.

May 28 - Gambare Nippon! Charity Community Concert

The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre/East Japan Disaster Relief Charity Show Committee is proud to present a very exciting charity show on Saturday May 28th, 2011. Since the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami destroyed much of the coastal cities of Northeast Japan, an outpouring of sympathy and strong support has been demonstrated by all communities in Canada. Here at the home of the Japanese Canadian community, many professional and community musicians and artists are stepping forward to perform in a benefit for the victims in Japan. Hear "Yo Ake Ni Mukatte" (Towards the Dawn) being performed by Mr Hubert Razack and Ms Emiko Hsuen. Thank you for your support.
